Volleyball Recap: Richard Pioneers vs. Huron Chiefs
Richard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huron Chiefs.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14.
Richard's offense was headlined by
Jenna Woodworth and
Allison Guyette, who picked up three kills apiece. Guyette really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five.
Nina Disanto controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Richard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17-2. As for Huron, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6-2 record this season.
Richard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Trenton on the 26th. Huron has also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Anderson on the 26th.
