Basketball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sherwood last Friday, Versailles came back down to earth. The Versailles Tigers came up short against the Crocker Lions on Monday, falling 71-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Versailles moved to 10-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Crocker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Versailles will head out to face off against Eldon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Crocker, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-54 victory against Iberia on the 29th.
