The Brawley Wildcats posted their biggest victory since December 28, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Holtville with a sharp 59-38 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Brawley has posted against Holtville since January 28, 2020.

Brawley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Domanic Vallejo out in front who scored 14 points along with six steals. Vallejo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cj Retutal, who scored 13 points.

Brawley pushed their record up to 12-10 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Holtville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Brawley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Calipatria at 7:00 p.m. As for Holtville, they will head out on the road to square off against Southwest EC at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest EC has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18.
