Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dalton). They skirted past the Northwestern Huskies 10-8. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win (which was Dalton's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.5 runs across that stretch. As for Northwestern, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Dalton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
