Bishop waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Maranatha Christian Eagles 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bishop's took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-10.

Bishop's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Maranatha Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Bishop's and Maranatha Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Knights (ranked 41st) will meet Cathedral Catholic (ranked eighth) at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Maranatha Christian will challenge Santa Fe Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (454 vs. 131).
