Football Game Preview: Griffin Bears vs. Harris County Tigers + How To Watch

The Griffin Bears will head out to take on the Harris County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Griffin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Griffin will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Starr's Mill, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Bears strolled past the Panthers with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 37-19. The game was the first time the Bears have beaten the Panthers on their field since September 29, 2017.

Meanwhile, after only ten points in their last game, Harris County made sure to put some points up on the board against Northside on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Tigers made off with a 38-37 win over the Patriots. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got Harris County back to even at 3-3. As for Griffin, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Things could have been worse for Griffin, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 31-16 loss to Harris County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
