Volleyball Recap: Valley View Find Success

Valley View proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Fontana Steelers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 5, 2024.

Valley View wouldn't go down easily and took Fontana into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-20, 20-25, 15-10.

Valley View's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fontana, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Valley View will head out on the road to face off against Hemet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fontana, they will take on Hesperia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Scorpions will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Steelers surely won't give up without a fight.
