Soccer Recap: More Academy's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

If More Academy was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of FAITH HomeSchool on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laker Lakers on Thursday. The loss was More Academy's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, More Academy fell to 7-1. As for Laker, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Looking ahead, More Academy will host Landmark Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. More Academy is facing Landmark Academy at the right time seeing as Landmark Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Laker, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Tawas Area on the 2nd.
