Football Recap: Malden Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Malden's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 61-0 to the Caruthersville Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Green Wave in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Malden's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Caruthersville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Malden will welcome Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Caruthersville, they will challenge Duchesne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
