Baseball Game Preview: West Shore Christian Academy vs. Shalom Christian Academy Flames

Jaden Locker and Memphis Barron stepped up to the plate in a big way. Locker went 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Barron got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Barron has become a key player for West Shore Christian Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-3 otherwise. Kyle Wolfe also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Shalom Christian Academy came up short against Saint James on Thursday and fell 7-4.

Shalom Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keaton Shands, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

West Shore Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Shalom Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. West Shore Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game.
