Soccer Recap: Severance Comes Up Short

Severance lost against Northridge back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Silver Knights fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-1. Henry Phillips was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Severance's goal came courtesy of Jorge Gonzales- Miranda, who's now up to two this season.

Severance's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 4-3-5. As for Northridge, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Coincidentally, Severance and Northridge will both be playing Thompson Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Silver Knights will head out to face the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Grizzlies will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
