Basketball Game Preview: Walters Blue Devils vs. Wilson Eagles

The Walters Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the Wilson Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walters has given up an average of 61.2 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Walters was beaten by Apache 76-37. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Wilson slipped by Marietta 48-47 on Saturday.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Walters, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Walters took a serious blow against Wilson when the teams last played back in January of 2025, falling 66-30. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
