Baseball Recap: North Forsyth Comes Up Short

North Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the McMichael Phoenix, falling 17-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Wednesday.

North Forsyth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremiah Squire, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for McMichael, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coincidentally, North Forsyth and McMichael will both be playing Walkertown the next time they take the field. McMichael will host Walkertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while North Forsyth will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
