There's no place like home for Amery, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Prescott Cardinals with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 67-49. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in January, they had to take a 77-54 loss.

Despite the loss, Prescott still got an impressive performance from Teddy Bernick, who went 6-for-13 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Emmett Otto, who posted eight points and five boards.

Amery is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Prescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Amery and Prescott should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Amery (ranked 122nd) will meet St. Croix Central (ranked 254th) at 5:45 p.m. on February 20th. Meanwhile, Prescott will face off against Baldwin-Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th up 189 places (98 vs. 287).
