Football Game Preview: De Kalb Bears vs. Redwater Dragons

De Kalb is a perfect 5-0 against Redwater since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 7:30 p.m. De Kalb will be strutting in after a win while Redwater will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, De Kalb didn't have too much trouble with New Boston as they won 26-10. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Dom Dunn went supernova, rushing for 98 yards and three TDs. Those 98 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Redwater was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against New Boston, falling 43-20.

De Kalb now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Redwater, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

De Kalb took their win against Redwater when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 60-34 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
