Volleyball Recap: Concord Crimson Tide vs. Dover Green Wave

After flying high against Keene last Wednesday, Concord came back down to earth. The Crimson Tide came up short against the Dover Green Wave on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Crimson Tide were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Wave apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Concord ultimately came up short, they really made Dover work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 29-27.

Dover found their leader in sophomore Jovie Meeker, who had 15 digs and three aces. Meeker has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Concord's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Dover, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
