Soccer Recap: Edgewater Victorious

Edgewater's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Boone Braves a 2-0 shutout. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered an 8-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Edgewater back to even at 6-6-2. As for Boone, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-3 record this season.

Edgewater will square off against Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Moore will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Boone, they will challenge East River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
