Soccer Game Preview: Prospect vs. Rolling Meadows

Prospect has gone 6-0-1 against Rolling Meadows recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will challenge the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Prospect's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Prospect took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Buffalo Grove, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights never let the Bison get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday. Rachel Asper had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Prospect.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Rolling Meadows was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell just short of Elk Grove by a score of 1-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Rolling Meadows couldn't quite close it out.

Rolling Meadows' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Prospect, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.
