Baseball Game Preview: Valley Indians vs. Whiteoak Wildcats

The Valley Indians will head out to square off against the Whiteoak Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Whiteoak's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Portsmouth West and fell 8-7.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Whiteoak's offense. They lost 10-0 to Zane Trace on Monday. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Pioneers since Monday.

Valley's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5. As for Whiteoak, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Valley came up short against Whiteoak when the teams last played back in May of 2023, falling 3-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
