Volleyball Recap: Tuscola Takes a Loss

Tuscola lost against Marshall back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14.

Lilly Kurtz paced Tuscola's offense, picking up six kills. Kurtz got some help from Sicily Moss and her 13 assists. Reese Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Addy Ross, who had 15 assists and six digs.

Tuscola has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Tuscola has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg on the 21st. As for Marshall, they will host Lawrenceville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
