Soccer Recap: Croatan Takes a Loss

While losing is never fun, Croatan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 328th, while New Bern are ranked 58th).

Croatan's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for New Bern, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Croatan didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Richlands on the 10th. As for New Bern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against North Lenoir on the 10th.
