The Independence Patriots are taking a road trip to challenge the Sierra Linda Bulldogs at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3 runs per game this season.
Independence is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since March 31st on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Glendale 10-9. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 5, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Independence's record is now 11-3. As for Sierra Linda, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11.
Independence took their win against Sierra Linda in their previous matchup back in April of 2015 by a conclusive 11-0 score.
