Crockett County came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the South Gibson Hornets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Crockett County also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Crockett County pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for South Gibson, they moved to 4-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
