Baseball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Littleton Crusaders, falling 13-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 22-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Littleton, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lisbon will host Colebrook Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Littleton, they will be playing at home against Profile at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.5 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
