Football Recap: Tuckahoe Starts Season with Win at Home

Tuckahoe gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Nanuet Golden Knights by a score of 27-20.

Tuckahoe was led to victory by Connor Brice and Declan Connolly. Brice threw for 131 yards and three TDs on only 11 passes, while Connolly gained 153 total yards and two touchdowns. Those 131 passing yards gave Brice a new career-high.

Tuckahoe and Nanuet will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers will take on rival Briarcliff/Hamilton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Nanuet is set to face off against their familiar foe Ardsley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
