Loganville posted their closest victory since August 28th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Habersham Central Raiders 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Red Devils as they're now sitting on five straight.

Loganville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-16, 16-14.

Kylie Christensen paced Loganville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Christensen got some help from Avery Anderson and her 27 assists. Anderson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addison Warnack, racking up two apiece.

Loganville's win bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Habersham Central, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-5.

Coincidentally, Loganville and Habersham Central will both be playing Alcovy the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
