Golden put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Heritage Eagles by a score of 49-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Demons also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2018.

Heritage's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skylar Peterson, who posted ten points and three steals. Peterson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Meilla Collins, who had 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Golden's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.5 points per game. As for Heritage, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden will head out to square off against Colorado Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden's defense has only allowed 25 points per game this season, so Colorado Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Heritage, they are taking a road trip to take on Fossil Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
