Volleyball Recap: Anthony Comes Up Short

Anthony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Bowie Bears. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on Friday.

Anthony couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 27-25, 27-25.

Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bowie, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-9.

While Anthony had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
