Van Arsdale had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 2-8 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Fort Hamilton Tigers 17-10. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cardinals' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

As for Fort Hamilton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11-1. Even if they couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

For Fort Hamilton's part, August Porter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jordan Ayala also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Coincidentally, Van Arsdale and Fort Hamilton will both be playing Curtis the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will host the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
