Volleyball Game Preview: Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars vs. Larimore Polar Bears

After both having extra time off, the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars and the Larimore Polar Bears will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Griggs County Central/Midkota has four straight wins, Larimore has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Griggs County Central/Midkota made easy work of Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Larimore came up short against Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Larimore's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Griggs County Central/Midkota, their win bumped their record up to 12-6-1.

Everything went Griggs County Central/Midkota's way against Larimore when the teams last played back in September, as Griggs County Central/Midkota made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Polar Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
