Grafton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bruton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Clippers will challenge the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Bruton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Grafton, who comes in off a win.

Grafton not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th (when they won 20-1). They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Poquoson. Considering the Clippers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Grafton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Henley, who went 2-for-5 with one RBI.

Grafton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Bruton came up short against Smithfield on Wednesday, falling 16-4. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eden Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Grafton's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8. As for Bruton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Grafton took their win against Bruton in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 20-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Clippers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
