Volleyball Recap: Bunn Wildcats vs. Washington Pam Pack
Bunn had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Washington Pam Pack 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Bunn was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-12.
Bunn had a senior duo take command as Shalyn Perry had five digs and three aces and Macy Pait had 16 digs and two aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Perry.
Several Pam Pack players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Naomi Huss, who had 15 digs, three aces, and a block. That's the most aces Huss has posted since back in September.
Bunn's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
Bunn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Midway on the 24th. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
