Basketball Recap: Amsterdam Rams vs. Johnstown Sir Bills
The Amsterdam Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 79-48 win over Johnstown on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Amsterdam has managed all season.
Amsterdam got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aundray Fowler out in front who scored 17 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Miller, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Amsterdam has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Johnstown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amsterdam will take on the Horses at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday. As for Johnstown, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday.
