The Anderson Raptors will venture away from home to challenge the West Clermont Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Anderson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Anderson hadn't beaten Milford on the road since May 7, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Raptors walked away with a 6-2 win over the Eagles. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 26, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Anderson got a great performance from Brennan Trowbridge as he pitched 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, Trowbridge posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
At the plate, Hudson Best was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Anderson: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tommy Huster, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Kings hit West Clermont with a four-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves came up short against the Knights, falling 9-2. Wolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Knights since on Thursday.
West Clermont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Huddleson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
This is the second loss in a row for West Clermont and nudges their season record down to 10-12. As for Anderson, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
West Clermont's pitching crew better be locked in on Friday. Anderson hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. It's a different story for West Clermont, though, as they've been averaging only 0 home runs. Will they be able to keep Anderson in the park?
Anderson came out on top in a nail-biter against West Clermont in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raptors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
