Marion extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Kaden Rogowski. The Marion Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 67-53 win over the Carbondale Terriers on Friday thanks in part to Rogowski, who went 13 of 18 to rack up 32 points. Those 32 points gave him a new career-high.

Race Hickey was another key player, putting up six points along with seven boards and three blocks. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 11 games he's played.

Marion pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Carbondale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

Coming up, Marion and Mt. Carmel will face off at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Carbondale, they will venture away from home to square off against Murphysboro at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
