Bishop Moore faced Lake Mary in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams. The victory was familiar territory for the Hornets, who have now won eight matches in a row.

One reason for the win was Bishop Moore's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Marc Francis Callejas, who had 13 digs. James Lumbra also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Bishop Moore pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lake Mary, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.
