Oak Creek lost to Catholic Memorial back in August of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 win over the Crusaders.

Isa Ruether paced Oak Creek's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ruether were helped by Julia Schneider and Kendall Frei, who contributed 14 assists each. Ava Turlais controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oak Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Catholic Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Oak Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Pewaukee on the 30th. As for Catholic Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Divine Savior Holy Angels on the 30th.
