Midtown waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Fellowship Christian Paladins by a score of 2-0. The Knights were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Paladins, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

Estelle Leege paced Midtown's offense, picking up 11 kills. Leege got some help from Lucy Konisky and her 22 assists. Abby Taylor and Julianna Richman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Midtown's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Fellowship Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 16-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midtown will square off against Decatur at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fellowship Christian, they will face off against The Weber School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Paladins their first taste of in-conference action this season.
