Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Cougars vs. Cumberland Valley Eagles
The Harrisburg Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Cumberland Valley at home and fell 73-46. Harrisburg has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Cumberland Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Creston Austin led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nolan Buzalka, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds.
Harrisburg has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Cumberland Valley, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.
