Recap: Bland Tigers vs. Celeste Blue Devils
The Bland Tigers won the last time they faced the Celeste Blue Devils, and things went their way on Friday too. Bland walked away with a 39-26 victory over Celeste.
Celeste lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaia Rector, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Bland has been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 20 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Celeste, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-12 record this season.
Bland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Celeste, they will head out on the road to face off against Trenton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Celeste is facing Trenton at the right time seeing as Trenton is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
