Soccer Recap: Kennedy Triumphs

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy). They never let the Bulls College Prep Bulls get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Monday. The contest was close at halftime, but Kennedy turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

Veronica Rios and Teresa Duran scored all three of Kennedy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Kennedy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-2. As for Bulls College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Kennedy will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Hubbard at 4:30 p.m. The game will give Kennedy their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Bulls College Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Baker on the 1st.
