Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-7 win over the Davenport Central Blue Devils. With the Lightning ahead 38-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

The victory made it two in a row for Liberty and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for Davenport Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
