With a playoff win on the line, Gonzales rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Summerville Bears. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

Gonzales' win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those nine contests. As for Summerville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 21-4 record.

Coming up, Gonzales will square off against Milpitas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milpitas will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Gonzales surely won't give up without a fight. Summerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
