Soccer Recap: Cesar E. Chavez Takes a Loss

Cesar E. Chavez lost against Lamar back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cesar E. Chavez Lobos lost 10-0 to the Lamar Texans. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 690th in Texas, while the Texans are ranked 84th in Texas).

Cesar E. Chavez's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lamar, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Looking ahead, Cesar E. Chavez will head out to challenge Bellaire at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lamar, they will host Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lamar is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5 goals per game this season.
