Keystone Heights posted their closest victory since March 7, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Middleburg Broncos 4-2. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Keystone Heights let Andrew Wilson and Austin Smith run wild. Wilson scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Smith went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Destin Harnage, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Keystone Heights' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing nine hits in those games compared to only five in the others. As for Middleburg, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
