The Tomball Memorial Wildcats will take on the Tomball Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tomball Memorial has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Tomball will come in with three straight victories.

Tomball Memorial is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 61 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Klein Collins on Friday. They took a blow against the Tigers, falling 48-13. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Tomball duked it out with Klein Oak on Friday. The Cougars blew past the Panthers 34-13. Considering the Cougars have won three games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tomball found their leader in sophomore Ian Thomas, who rushed for 118 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 68 receiving yards. Thomas showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 68 yards. Jaxyn Faldyn was another key player, throwing for 212 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes.

Tomball's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Tomball Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
