Volleyball Game Preview: West Bladen Knights vs. South Brunswick Cougars

West Bladen hasn't had much luck against South Brunswick recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. West Bladen will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

West Bladen proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past South Columbus 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since August 20th.

Meanwhile, South Brunswick got the win against Fairmont on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

South Brunswick's got stronger as the match went on, holding Fairmont to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-16.

South Brunswick's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for West Bladen, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.
