Volleyball Recap: Atlanta Takes a Loss

Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Marshall Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15.

Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Marshall, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Atlanta will challenge New Boston at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marshall, they will play host again on Saturday to welcome New Diana, where the match is scheduled at 2:00 p.m.
