Basketball Recap: Chisholm Comes Up Short

After flying high against International Falls last Tuesday, Chisholm came back down to earth. The Chisholm Bluestreaks lost to the Greenway Raiders on the road by a 82-66 margin on Tuesday. The Bluestreaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Chisholm now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Greenway, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Chisholm will be playing in front of their home fans against Littlefork-Big Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Littlefork-Big Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Chisholm likes a good challenge. As for Greenway, they will challenge Hibbing at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Greenway's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
