Basketball Recap: Gobles Comes Up Short

After flying high against Martin last Friday, Gobles came back down to earth. The Gobles Tigers took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galesburg-Augusta Rams on Monday. The Tigers have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Gobles' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Galesburg-Augusta, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Gobles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-37 win against Constantine on the 28th. As for Galesburg-Augusta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-42 victory against Lawton on the 28th.
